June 1st, 2011 marked the beginning of my one-poem-a-day-for-a-year quest. I finished that and so January 1st, 2013 marks the beginning of my "you learn something new every day" journey. Clam Chow-Duh
I was born in Massachusetts and I have never seen this, EXCEPT the tomato-base New York clam chowder:
"In Massachusetts, it is against the law to put tomatos in clam chowder."
